I was not very surprised though, as I had expected it.

Earlier too, I had installed Ubuntu 6.06 LTS successfully on an 80GB HDD successfully but it wouldn't boot as soon as I'd attach another 20GB HDD to my PC (Gyandoot). I had beem to the 'Manori beach' yesterday with my divine brothers. I was surprised to see only two of us at the gathering point, as we had expected many more. The two of us then, headed towards the beach where we were suppposed to meet the others. The cool breeze, rising sun and the morning-freshness made the journey to beach extremely pleasant.

On the way, we could see many groups returning after the night's celebrations. On reaching the other end via a boat, we met our brothers. We then, reached the beach after passing through a village. On the way, 'Sagar Putras' (divine fishermen) joined us as soon as they came to know about the arrival of their divine brothers. Everything then became easy as who else could have been a better guide?

The first thing that we did was quite obvious - breakfast. To a brother's suggestion, we played kabaddi then, which injured many including me. While a 'Sagar Putra' went home to fetch some water fore us, we sat down and 'bhav-geet' began eventually. It was then followed by a series of cricket matches that everyone enjoyed.

The cricket matches left everyone tired and hungry too. It was around 1 p.m. then. Obviously, lunch followed. The lunch began with the 'prarthna' and ended with empty lunch-boxes. As everyone was tired but still wished to play cricket, we played 'box-cricket' then.

After a few dips into the sea, a 'Sagar Putra' asked us whether we would like to visit the 'Prarthna Mandir'. Everyone's delight was clearly visible on the faces and no words were required to respond. The 'Prarthna Mandir' was extremely simple yet beautiful. We prayed and sang a 'bhav-geet' there. To our much delight, our eyes saw the 'Matsyagandha' then. I was not able to believe that my long cherished dream had come true.

Followed by a cup of tea and an invitation to be on 'Matsyagandha' we returned home filled with enthusiasm, pride and divinity.

Isn't it a great beginning of the year?

Happy Manushya Gaurav Din!

Millions are celebrating this festival today. It may sound strange, I agree. Even I was not aware of the 'divine revolution' happenning besides me. The reason being its silent.

The 'Swadhyay Pariwar' has 'grown' over the years with leaps and bounds. It's not a movement, organization, neither is it a sect or creed. It is a 'family of millions'. It is family raised by Rev. Dadaji on the basis of 'brotherhood under the fatherhoodof GOD'.

Manushya Gaurav Din (Human Dignity Day) is celebrated by the family members on 19th October which is Dadaji's birthday, with a sense of gratitude towards the imparter of true human dignity. God himself , has said in 'Bhagvad Gita' that every living creature is his part (Mamayvansho Jeevloke) and that he resides in every creature's heart (Sarvasyachaham hridisan nivishto). It was Rev. Dadaji who made enormous efforts throughout his life to make human beings realize the true dignity within (the indwelling GOD).

Hence, humans started celebrating his birthday as the 'Manushya Gaurav Din' from the year 1990 and this expression of reverence and gratitude has continued.

Acquaintance with LAMP

It feels very nice to post this. For quite a long time (about 3 years), I had been willing to learn and use LAMP (Linux-Apache-MySQL-PHP). I know that willingness alone does not work ; I even made a few attempts but the intensity was not substantial.
Finally, I had an opportunity to work on it (or obligation, in other words).

I am developing an application software to be used by the SJITI and am glad to say that it's first module will be delivered in the next week.

Earlier too, I had used LAMP for the B.E. project ; again the primary intention being getting well acquainted with LAMP. We did complete our project somehow but the intention was not met and hence I was not satisfied.

Still, I certainly, can't say that I am 'well acquainted' with it but I am happy now.

A new way of worship: Street Plays

A new way of worship: Street Plays

I have just finished performing Street Plays. These plays were neither for earning money nor to gain popularity; it's our way of celebrating 'Janmashtami'.

Everyday, alongwith my divine brothers, I used to set out on the streets of nearby locality to perform the plays. All of us either are working professionals(including engineers, businessmen) or students. Hence, we performed plays during the night without affecting our jobs or studies.

We had a mixed response from the crowd. However, it could not affect us in anyway as we had already crossed the boundaries of expectations.

What we gained was development in its true sense.
